What is actually driving us?
Most of us move through our work and lives on autopilot more than we realise.
We nurture relationships, build careers, lead teams, make decisions, often guided by patterns we didn’t consciously choose. Patterns shaped by experience, expectations, pressure, success or fear.
My work lives in that space.
Not in fixing people, but in helping you notice what’s already there. Creating room for awareness, clarity, and ultimately, conscious choice, in how you lead, decide, relate, and grow.
Before this chapter, I spent years in worlds obsessed with growth, strategy, performance and sustainability. Valuable worlds, but ones that rarely pause to ask:
“What is actually driving us?”
Today, that question sits at the centre of everything I do.
If you’re here, you’re probably curious too.
And curiosity is always a good place to begin.
Through personal stories and practical insights, Gerard, Wim and rose Marie explore in this episode how increasing your self-awareness can lead to more fulfilling relationships, greater self-confidence, and a deeper sense of freedom. What makes it so difficult to look in the mirror? What do we mean by “life is lived forward and understood backward”? And how can you train your self-awareness? (recorded in Dutch)
